Tips on How to Love Life

I found the Congolese people to be fun, resilient and very fun. These children at a refugee camp in the Eastern Congo taught me a song. Their contagious laughter is amazing when you know what they have experienced. Many of the girls have been raped, the boys bullied and threatened yet laughter presides!

Beautiful, joyful photograph!
I have found it to be true...sometimes those who suffer most, also most easily laugh.

WOW what a contrast. I think it is very cool that you now photograph weddings and yet can tell a story in the Congo so well.
God bless

Sherryl...I just spent the wee hours of my morning pouring over your experiences in DRC. My parents were life-term missionaries there. I was born and raised in the country during Mobutu's reign. My wife and I now have a successful wedding photography business in the US. But your act of bringing light to the situation in this beautiful but badly scarred country has inspired us. THANK YOU for your amazing talent...and your willingness to GO!

Come On In
