Congratulations to Marquette and Happy!!!

Marquette and Happy sent me this picture of themselves after they won.
Marquette and Happy are the winners of the Free Day of Wedding Photography! There were 2 very close runners up but in the end the photography judges chose Marquette and Happy based on need and ALL the POSITIVE Energy and Giving Back that they do. They are having a park wedding and an evening reception. I'll post pics of their wedding here.

Scott A. Nelson Photographer of Newport Beach have narrowed the contest for a free day of wedding photography down to 3 people. The response has been gigantic.
So many great stories from so many wonderful brides and grooms. It has been really hard to choose. The top 3 brides have been notified and we'll make the final decision as soon as possible.

Wedding Photography Contest Update

My dog Elliot and his new buddy Miles are hanging out on a blustery spring afternoon. I get to come home to this scene. We are babysitting Miles.

We received a mailbox full of wonderful applicants for the free day of wedding photography and will be going over them in the next week and a half. Then the winner will be announced. I'll have another one sometime later. Thanks for all the great emails.

Where is that girl now? Mike and Giselle are so much fun. They came from Chicago to have their photo shoot- really just an excuse to indulge in the greenery of Oregon. Mike & Giselle-- brainy, sweet and fun- did I say fun, fun fun? It rained during our complete photo shoot but they endured and laughed over it. This picture was taken during a warm up break in Eugene Oregon.


Mix a soon to be lawyer and a child loving nanny and what do you get? Fun loving Giselle and Mike! Not only are these two happy and fun they got a plan!

I am so blessed in this life. Tonight I heard a holocaust survivor say, "thank you for allowing me to see the sun each day". I know there are plenty of people struggling right now and I would like to give this for someone in need. It will be my pleasure!
