Why My Customers Come Back

http://www.lovesimplyhappens.com Wedding Photography
Destination Wedding Photography, Oregon Wedding Photography for the bride and groom who care about their pictures!

according to Forrester research.. "a sign that in down times,
customers become even more alert to the way they're being treated
and get even more sensitive to the experiences they have"...
in this economic environment, every purchase they make, every service
interaction they have is a large portion of what they care about," he
continued.
"They're more emotional about everything and, therefore, a
bad experience resonates even more negatively."Forrester Research
"Customers will do more business with companies that serve them best, and a good portion of what they evaluate is the experience."

The word client is Forrester Research's word. My word is "friends". Yes my customers do become my friends and I love it. I have been lucky to have amazing people to photograph.

Showing Belice's Story

Each time nine-year-old Belice leaves her home to get water she passes soldiers like those who raped her.
Belice hesitates to go get water and insists one of her siblings come along.

If you go to the WPPI conference pleas stop by ShootQ and Lacour and check out the slide show on the Congo and little Belice.
You can donate by clicking on Paypal on this blog and determine the donation to Belice. Nine-year-old Belice and 80% of the women and her village have been violently raped by soldiers.
Partial words from Brandon Heath's song "Give Me Your Eyes" hear the awesome song in whole on the right side bar! It's the most beautiful song.(I really think his song goes best with these pictures) hey Brandon Heath what do you think?

Chorus:
Lord,
Give me your eyes for just one second
Give me your eyes so I can see
Everything that I keep missing
Give me your love for humanity
Give me your arms for the broken-hearted
The ones that are far beyond my reach
Give me your heart for the ones forgotten
Give me your eyes so I can see
See a girl and our eyes meet
Does her best to smile at me
To hide what's underneath
There's a man just to her right
Black suit and a bright red tie
Too ashamed to tell his wife
He's out of work, he's buying time
All those people going somewhere
Why have I never cared
I've been here a million times
A couple of million eyes
Just move and pass me by
I swear I never thought that I was wrong
Well, I want a second glance
So give me a second chance
To see the way You've seen the people all along

Men in Congo take a Pool Break

Someone asked me the other day if I am shooting weddings. Of course I am. I love photographing weddings. I like the pull and push of telling hard stories and telling the story of people in love on the most important day of their life.
These guys in the Congo are taking a break from the hard life in a backroom basement.

Kisses and puppy Dog Tails on Superbowl Sunday

Is it true kisses are made out of spit? My dog says, "so what". Elliot Jorge came back with me from Guatemala. The first time he sat in my car he sat there as if he had been in a car all his life. In actuality he had been living tied up to a gate chain by rubble eating raw maize. His favorite food is ground turkey burgers with zucchini. (it's actually very late night and I'm prescheduling this for Sunday)
Enjoy Superbowl

Come On In
