Green Weddings and Dandelion

I just learned that dandelion is named after the yellow mane of the lion! Lots of brides and grooms are vying for green weddings this year. Why not start out a life together by being aware of the future. Well it just happens that dandelions, those little yellow flowers that pop up in yards, are full of vitamins!
So when you are planning your wedding pick some of the leaves from dandelions and create a tea fusion. You can add it to your favorite punch or drinks. Let your wedding guests know they are getting a healthy vitamin hit!

Olympic Trials Eugene Oregon

Olymic Trials begin tomorrow right here in Eugene, Oregon. There are people here already from all over the world. It's truly exciting. I am not an athlete although I love to bicycle, swim and my gym classes. But all the athletes here makes me wish I had learned to run. I love watching the leg muscles of these world class runners. The pic is one I took at the pre Fontaine trials of Koch crossing the finish line.

India Wedding

OK can you see the beads of sweat on my face? It was extreme heat during the wedding. This is during the reception. The wedding ceremony lasted 2 days and 2 nights. Even the photographer gets painted during the wedding. Orange means holy and luck (I think). I didn't even know this and I wore an orange top to the wedding.

Athens Ohio University Visual Communications

Yay! I finally turned in my thesis project to Ohio University. Lo! My project was accepted with some very minor changes and that means....I finally have a degree. So you all can really jump on me the next time you see a mispelled worrd. Terry Eiler, Stan Alost and the wonderful Marcy Nighswander were on my committee. Hey yo Terry Anderson was originally on the committee as my outside person but I took too long to get this turned in. Oh yeah, I won't actually see the piece of paper until I give the university their tuition credit which is not possible to do during the summer. Oh well... as long as I KNOW.
