Wedding in India

This wedding Talmu Nadu India. The wedding ceremony was all night until the next morning. The bride and groom were extremely exhausted as was I. I was hobbling around on crutches right after major hip surgery so it's surprising that my pictures aren't more crooked. Orange is a lucky Hindu color representing fertility so many of the women in the family dress in orange. The burning candles added a sense of warm glow to the overall scene.

Yesterday I was sitting in David Leeson and Kim Leeson's home with tears rolling down my face as I watched the latest edit of David Leeson and Scott Kesterson's film " Atwar" filmed in Afghanistan . The story begins with a man running running, the sound of his breath dominates the scene....
the rest you will have to see for yourself.
The beginning is stunning and as David pulls the rest of the film together I am positive the rest will be just as exhilarating. There are some trailers on utube which I will link here oh or just go here.
